Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what data Listrix collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

When you use Listrix, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: Your name and email address, provided during sign-up.
  • Listing content: Titles, descriptions, keywords, images, pricing data, categories, brands, and conditions you create or upload while using the AI Listing Creator.
  • Platform connection data: If you connect your Etsy account via OAuth, we access your listings and sales data from that platform.
  • Usage data: Basic information about how you interact with the Service (pages visited, features used), collected for product improvement.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide and improve the Listrix service:

  • To generate AI-powered listing titles, descriptions, keywords, and pricing suggestions.
  • To display your dashboard analytics, including sales, profits, and inventory metrics.
  • To send account-related notifications (password resets, billing reminders, product updates). We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Neon Postgres, a managed database service. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

4. Cookies

Listrix uses a single session cookie (listrix_session) for authentication purposes. This cookie is:

  • HttpOnly — not accessible to JavaScript, reducing XSS risk.
  • Secure — only transmitted over HTTPS.
  • Essential — required for you to stay signed in.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics services. Your browsing is private.

5. No Selling of Data

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is yours — we don't monetize it.

6. Platform Data (Etsy)

If you choose to connect your Etsy account via OAuth:

  • We access your listings, orders, and sales data solely to display analytics on your Listrix dashboard.
  • We do not modify, delete, or create listings on your behalf without your explicit action.
  • You can disconnect your platform accounts at any time from your Settings. Disconnecting revokes our access immediately.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including listings, platform connections, and personal information — is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings, or by contacting us.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

9. Children's Privacy

Listrix is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the email address associated with your account. Continued use of Listrix after changes constitutes acceptance.
